Janhit Mein Jaari: Nushrratt Bharuccha Recalls The First Time She Learned About Condoms

Nushrratt Bharuccha made her Hindi film debut in Jai Santoshi Maa (2006) and rose to prominence only a few years later. Dibakar Banerjee (Love Sex Aur Dhokha), Luv Ranjan (Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Akaash Vani, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety), Pawan Kripalani (Darr@ the Mall), and Hansal Mehta are among her collaborators (Chhalaang). Chhorii, her 2021 film, was a solo lead. Again She is coming with a banger as a solo lead in “Janhit Mein  Jaari”.

The comedy film Janhit Mein Jaari, starring Nushrratt Bharuccha as a condom sales girl, is set to hit theaters this Friday, June 10. In addition to Nushrratt, the film features prominent performances by Vijay Raaz, Tinnu Anand, Brijendra Kala, and Anud Singh Dhaka.

In a recent conversation, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety leading lady discussed the first time she learned about condoms and her reaction when her parents discussed condoms at home. Nushrratt considers himself fortunate to have been introduced to condoms at school through sex education.

“I think I was lucky because in school they started teaching us this chapter about biology and sex education,” the actress told BollywoodLife.com. The conversation was taking place in school, which is unusual in many schools. I believe I was simply fortunate to be on the right side of the coin. So the school was the first to introduce me to this.” She went on, “My parents had also discussed it with me at home. Of course, I couldn’t understand what they were saying and kept asking, ‘kya bol rahe ho? (What exactly are you saying?)’ But they didn’t just tell me one day; they kept repeating it until the message became ingrained in my mind, and it was clear that this is what it is and why it is.” “Of course, there were still questions about it. But they can’t say what it is, can they? It cannot be demonstrated. But they talked about it as much as they could and made it normal for me. So I was fortunate “Nushrratt concluded.

Aside from Janhit Mein Jaari, the actress will be next seen later this year in the action-adventure drama Ram Setu, alongside Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film, directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Amazon Prime Video, is set to be released on October 24, coinciding with the Diwali festival.
