Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor is going great in her career. Among all the star kids, her graph is shaping up really well. With her recent offerings, Kapoor has established her acting prowess. While promoting her upcoming movie, Mili, veteran actress, Sridevi’s daughter got into an exclusive chat with a leading daily and talked about the relation between an actor and producer of a film. She indirectly took a dig at her rumoured ex-Kartik Aaryan for his fallout with the leading production house of the industry, Dharma.

Janhvi, who entered Bollywood four years ago, has already decoded a lot about the film business. While speaking on how some unprofessional actors trouble producers, Janhvi stated, “My whole life, I have always been aware of the hardship that a producer can face when actors are not cooperative. It takes a tremendous amount of money and effort to put up just a day of shooting. I know how much trouble my father faced every time an actor made his life a little difficult. So, I promised myself when I started my career that I wouldn’t be such an actor. As a result, I think I’m over diplomatic and polite on other film sets.” This seemed like a silent attack on Kartik because he opted out of Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 after everything- script, look-tests, the cast was locked in.

Although Mili, which stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa also, is Janhvi’s home production, the actress claimed to have the same approach towards it as she has for any other project. “The only difference on Mili was that I didn’t face the fear of the producer finding me arrogant. I didn’t have to think that because here my father is the producer. He knows me better than anyone. I could tell him exactly what I thought, which was a good feeling,” she shared.

For the unversed, Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan were cast by Karan Johar in Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2. However, things could not materialize and it led to Aaryan’s exit from the much-anticipated film. It was reported that Kartik’s unprofessional behaviour upset Johar and so he decided to scrap the project altogether. Besides this, rumour mills were abuzz with Janhvi and Kartik’s budding romance during the time Dostana 2 was announced. However, the duo never acknowledged their relationship and soon went on separate paths.
