Sridevi’s family often spends time in Chennai together. Sridevi had built a house in Chennai. She wanted to convert this house into a hotel. Now, Janhvi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor have fulfilled Sridevi’s dream by renovating this house and turning it into a hotel where people can stay for free.

Janhvi has given this house to a rental company, categorizing it under the ‘Icon’ category. It’s worth noting that Sridevi had bought this house after marrying Boney Kapoor.
Janhvi mentioned in collaboration with the rental company, “I remember, we celebrated many of Mom’s birthdays there. Even my and Dad’s birthdays were celebrated there. After Mom passed away, we couldn’t spend much time at this house because renovation work was pending.”
She expressed: “It was Mom’s dream to renovate this house and turn it into a hotel. Dad had the house renovated after Mom’s passing. I remember, he used to say that he had to do this for Mom. We celebrated Dad’s birthday there.”
Janhvi Said: After Mom’s passing, it was the first time Dad celebrated his birthday there. A few years later, seeing Dad happy there made me happy too.”
The house that Janhvi has put up for rental allows ordinary people to stay for free, but they need to apply for this opportunity. Those who win the “gold tickets” based on certain criteria will get to stay in the hotel for free.
This year, 4000 tickets are available, and whoever wins them can stay there at a very low cost. Janhvi shared this on her Instagram as well.
