Actress Mahhi Vij, wife of actor Jay Bhanushali, recently became the target of trolls after she put lipstick on their three-year-old daughter Tara.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Jay revealed that Mahhi Vij was subjected to trolling. He said, “It is well known that girls love makeup and their mothers are idolized by them.

“If her mother is applying lipstick, her daughter will want to follow suit. While we try not to put makeup on Tara during the week, we break the rules on weekends. But from Monday to Friday, we strictly adhere to the school rules.”

“We are open to suggestions because we understand they care about Tara,” Jay said when asked how he handles online trolling and negative comments.

“But if someone is mean to me, I don’t stop. I respond to them in kind. It’s never been a problem for me, and I don’t have the fear of doing it again. My family sometimes asks me to let go, but I always respond so that others can learn.”

He expressed that he and Mahhi understand the love their fans have for Tara, but he feels a sense of obligation to respond appropriately if they are cruel to her.

 

Jay stated that he responds to trolls in their language, even if it means being mean like them. While Jay’s family frequently advises him to avoid trolls, the actor doesn’t mind giving them a taste of their medicine.
