‘Jaya Was Always Supportive And Never Complained’ Amitabh Bachchan Opens Up On His Relationship With Wife

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is often in the news headlines for one or the other reasons. Big B is once again in front of the audience as the host of the 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). Popular for his entertaining hosting, Big B’s return is no less than a treat for the viewers of the TV show. Amitabh Bachchan had a heartwarming moment in the recent episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’ when a contestant asked him how he manages to spend time at home with his wife and kids.

In a recent episode of the show, Amitabh Bachchan was seen speaking quite openly while talking about his family and praised Jaya Bachchan for her commitment to the family while working. When one of the contestants of the show Sumitra Dinesh asked Big B if Jaya ever complained that he was unable to spend time with her due to being busy with the shooting of KBC.

To this, Big B laughingly replied, “Oh what can I say? The family questions people ask me when they come here…it hurts me a lot.” Amitabh then recalled his early days in the film industry, when he was shooting for three films simultaneously. He recalled how he used to work in three different shifts, leaving him with very little time for his family. “Many years passed and we came into the film industry. Then we started working. Our work used to be done in three shifts,” the actor said.

Even his father, the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan, once told him that he was working very hard. Sharing what the actor’s poet father had told him, he said, “Boley beta tum kaam bahut karte ho. Hum boley baauji paisa badi mushkil se milta hai.” Amitabh Bachchan then praised his wife Jaya Bachchan’s dedication to her family and giving her all to their children Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan while they were growing up. He revealed that “Jaya was always supportive and never complained.”
