Jennifer Lopez opens up about rekindling her romance with husband Ben Affleck, saying, “It does have a beautiful ending 20 years later. It has the most unlikely of Hollywood endings.”
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have recently become the buzz of the town after announcing their wedding and revealing glimpses of the ceremony. As she prepares to release her new album, This Is Me, the singer mused on her previous break-up with Ben Affleck while claiming that her new record highlighted her restored romance with him.
After 17 years apart, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited in 2021 and announced their relationship after dating for a while. The couple later married in Las Vegas without telling anyone and then planned a lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Apple Music 1, as reported by Republic World, Jennifer Lopez talked about her next album admitting that it showed her from the time she reunited with the love of her life and decided to stay together forever. She went on to say that the album’s entire theme was that this love exists.
Jennifer Lopez said in her new album, This Is Me, “me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life and we determined we are spending the rest of our lives forever. “The album’s overall theme is that love exists”.
Furthermore, the singer discussed how some sections of the record frighten Ben, saying, “I think parts of it frighten Ben, too.” ‘Oh, do you want to say all this stuff?’ he asks. ‘I don’t know how else to do it, darling,’ I say. Jennifer Lopez also confessed that when they called off their wedding 20 years ago, it was the most heartbreaking experience of her life, and she thought she was going to die.
Returning to the present, she discussed the happy conclusion, claiming that it had the most “would-never-happen-in-Hollywood finale.”
It led me on a downward spiral for the following 18 years, during which I couldn’t get it right. I couldn’t quite get it right. But, 20 years later, it has a happy conclusion. It has the most unlikely of Hollywood endings. ‘That’s never going to happen. ‘We’re not going to write it because no one would believe that,’ Jennifer Lopez said.
