Punjabi actor Aman Dhaliwal who had played the role of Rajkumar Ratan Singh in movie Jodha Akbar has stabbed by an unknown assailant in US. He was doing exercise in Planet Fitness gym in Grand Oaks, California when the incident took place.
In the viral video of the gym, an unknown assailant is seen putting Dhaliwal on knife point and asking for water from other people. He is also threatening the actor and others to stab the actor.The attacker was in light- blue colour hoodie and the actor can be seen in green jacket and track pant.
At one moment in the video, when the attacker is seeing somewhere else, Dhaliwal knocked him to the ground and then surrounding people came to the actor’s rescue. People at the gym kept pushing and holding the attacker to the ground so that he couldn’t escape.
Aman Dhaliwal got several wounds of knife in his body including his chest and head. The actor was immediately taken to the hospital and is currently out of danger. Doctors said he has got several stitches in the hospital as is now in the recovering period. The local police has took the assailant in its custody and is investigating the case. However, the cause of the attack has not been yet revealed in the investigation.
Who Is Aman Dhaliwal?
Aman Dhaliwal was born in Mansa, Punjab. He started his career as a model but later worked in several Punjabi music videos and Hindi films. Dhaliwal made his acting debut with a small role in Sunny Deol’s movie Big Brother in 2007. In 2008, he played Rajkumar Ratan Singh in Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai starrer Jodhaa Akbar. He was also a part of TV shows including Vighnaharta Ganesh, Virsa, and Ik Kudi Punjab Di. Apart from Bollywood, the actor has also worked in Hollywood films including Scorned and God’s Own Devil.
