On September 2, after four years of a love relationship, the couple exchanged vows, making it official. King herself enthusiastically confirmed their engagement in an Instagram collaborative post with Vogue Weddings, and the world couldn’t be happier for them.

Their love story took a lovely turn when Piet proposed in February 2022 during a romantic getaway to Joshua Tree to commemorate their three-year anniversary. Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the moment was brilliantly captured.

Joey King Wore A Dreamy Oscar de la Renta Gowns On Her Wedding

Aside from the spectacular wedding setting, we believe Joey’s four Oscar de la Renta (ODLR) gowns were the stars of the occasion, particularly her 3-D floral bridal gown. Joey mentioned in the same interview that she wanted to select a dress that was both classic and had distinct features to complement the locale.

She spent months visiting various bridal shops but was unable to find the appropriate gown. Fortunately, her stylist, Jared Eng, advised her to look at Oscar de la Renta’s bridal collection. Joey ended up choosing four different outfits for her wedding.

Joey King of Kissing Booth chose a white whimsical dress from the ODLR collection for her rehearsal dinner. It was a lovely midi gown with delicate floral motifs, laces, and a cape. The actress wore diamond earrings and kept her makeup to a bare minimum.

Joey chose a dramatic strapless sweetheart neckline and huge 3-D flower-petal paillettes white gown with minimum bling to allow her outfit speak for itself. The 24-year-old actress desired a little glitter on her eyes while keeping the rest of her make-up natural. Her OOTD was enhanced tenfold by the light of contentment on her cheeks. For the wedding, Steven looked smart and elegant in a classic black and white tuxedo by Brunello Cucinelli and patent Gianvito Rossi shoes.

Joey wore the ODLR Raffia Fringe Knit Mini Dress with Amanu sandals to the post-wedding pool party on Sunday afternoon. Joey later changed into the designer’s floral cut-out one-piece swimsuit.
