Bollywood actor John Abraham is known for doing action films. And continuing the streak of the same, he is coming up next with the much-awaited action-thriller Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Besides grabbing eyeballs since its teaser release, the film has also got into several controversies.

Firstly, some political leaders and Hindu organizations claimed that the use of the saffron-coloured bold outfits worn by Deepika Padukone in Pathaan’s song ‘Besharam Rang’ is aimed at insulting Hindutva. Secondly, some Muslims got offended by the title of the film which represents a high caste in their community.

John ignores questions on Pathaan

Amidst all the ongoing controversies, Abraham recently reached at the launch of a health beverage. During the press conference, it looked as if the actor didn’t wish to talk about his upcoming movie Pathaan. He first refused to answer a question about Shah Rukh’s fitness and body in the film. Later, when John was asked to say a few lines on the recently-released trailer of the movie, he once again skipped it and said, “next question.” The New York actor stood up and walked off the stage when asked to say something about Pathaan.

John gets trolled

The video of John ignoring questions on Pathaan went viral on social media. Some netizens began trolling the actor for the same. A user stated, “John pehle tu behaviour thik kar.” Another said, “Itna attitude. Shame on you.” A third one quoted, “Lagta hai Pathaan se naraz hain John.”

John writes a note for Pathaan

Now after facing severe backlash from audience for his attitude, the star has taken a u-turned and has penned a heartfelt note for Pathaan. Taking to his Instagram stories, John shared that the current moment in his life is special as he is receiving so much love for his role in Siddharth Anand’s directorial.

For the unversed, Pathaan is set to hit the theatres on January 25. The actioner will see Shah Rukh Khan locking horns with John Abraham and romancing Deepika Padukone.
