After safely returning from Japan’s devastating earthquake, Jr. NTR sends a message of sympathy. The news of a massive earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale that occurred in Japan on January 1, 2024 shook the world. A day later, a total of 155 additional short-duration earthquakes were detected across the nation. Popular Telugu actor Jr. NTR announced his safety and well-being upon returning from Japan to India amid the natural disaster, while millions of people are praying for everyone’s safety.

On January 2, 2024, he posted a message of condolence on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his pain at the devastation caused by nature in the nation he had just returned from a week earlier. Giving thanks to the nation’s citizens for their assistance in his quick recuperation, he wrote: “Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan.”

Earlier, Jr. NTR’s film, RRR was promoted in Japan

Jr NTR has a long and affectionate relationship with Japan, which he has visited several times. For example, the actor had travelled to the nation in 2022 while promoting his movie, RRR.At the Japanese box office, the movie made an astounding 410 million Yen in revenue. In Indian rupees, this amounts to approximately Rs. 24.13 crores.
