Juhi Chawla has been in the entertainment industry for almost 40 years. she has worked with many actors and directors over the years and has even watched their children grow up and enter the industry. In a recent interview, Juhi talked about becoming a movie star when her kids grow up, adding that she works hard just like everyone else.
In an interview, Juhi spoke about her childhood friend’s daughter, Kiara Advani, before talking about other “kids” she watched them grew up with, including Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and director David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan.
In an interview with Pink Villa, Juhi said, “suhana and everyone else grew up in front of us. It’s amazing to see them. Not only Suhana, there are so many of them. When I first worked with David Gee in Swarga (1990), they (actor Varun dhwan and director Rohit Dhawan) was children. They’re all movie stars now, so it’s amazing to see how talented they are.”
The actress added that these star kids don’t like to take things for granted because of their privileges. “Everyone worked very hard. None of them take it lightly that I’m Starkid, so if I just go out on set, everything happens. Many of them work very hard. It’s beautiful, but I can’t say who I like more. All these kids that I grew up in front of me are my favorites.
Varun Dhawan made his film debut as Karan Johar’s Student of the Year in 2012 and starred in films such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, October and Jug jugg Jiyo which brought his box office success and critical acclaim. Suhana is set to make her film debut in Zoya Akhtar’s Archies, which is also the screen debut of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.
