Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni who was seen in several hit films of 90’s era is once again in the news. Let us tell you that the actress has recently returned to Mumbai after 25 years of break from the entertainment industry and has broken her silence on her arrival to India. In a recent interview with one of the media houses, Mamta spoke about her precious time, spiritual journey, and her decision to leave the film industry at the peak of her career.

Let us tell you that Mamta’s return came after the Bombay High Court dismissed the FIR against her in the Rs 2,000 crore drug case and gave her a clean chit in the same case. After her disappearance for about 25 years from the industry, Mamta has compared herself to Gautam Buddha. During an interview, she said, ‘I had set out in search of truth. Just like Gautam Buddha set out. I was just doing penance, immersed in devotion.’

Apart from this, the actress also recalled quitting Bollywood when her career was at its peak and said, “I had 40 films, 3 flats, 4 cars, did 50 concerts across the world but I left it all.” Mamta clarified that her return to India has nothing to do with her Bollywood comeback. She further said, “I have not come here to go back to Bollywood. I am finding a middle ground and will continue on my spiritual path. Everything looks good with age. I have enjoyed that phase but now I have moved on.”

Let us tell you that the actress further revealed that she has returned to watch the upcoming Kumbh Mela, adding that she is satisfied with her spiritual journey and life away from films. She dismissed speculations of participating in Bigg Boss or resuming her acting career.
