This is exactly what Kamal Haasan has done through his recent outing, Vikram featuring a busload of contemporary stars in addition to a battalion of technicians from the contemporary times!

Years earlier, way back in 1986, Kamal Haasan had made Vikram a James Bond kind of action thriller, a spy thriller, so to say, which also showcased Dimple Kapadia and even Amzad Khan. As a matter of fact, computer technology which was in its infant stages then, was put to proper use in the script and sequences!

Vikram is again the title of this Kamal Haasan starrer of year 2022 in which the thinking actor that he is, Kamal has tactfully incorporated his character-sketch from that film, onto this, in a very clever manner!

Vijay Sethupathi who rides like a colossus at Kollywood currently, plays the antagonist while Fahadh Fasil of Mollywood plays a Special Investigating Official!

While the former Vikram had musical score by Ilaiyaraja who had incorporated computerized music in that, Anirudh Ravichandar, the contemporary composer hailed as a Youth Icon has come up with a sensational background score in tune with the trend of the times!

Actor Suriya makes a cameo appearance at the end of the film suggesting a sequel for this flick!

Logesh Kanagaraj who is just a couple of films old has helmed the film in a distinctive style with a view to attract the younger generation of fans with the older generation of Kamal fans waiting in their wings to watch their favourite matinee idol scorch the screens!

The film has proved a box-office blockbuster beating and superseding all expectations!
