She said, “Being an MP is a very challenging job. Especially my constituency has been flooded, so I am present everywhere.” She also said that she is busy surveying the flood-affected areas of Himachal Pradesh.

The actress then told how her films have been left behind due to her political career. Supporting her statement, Kangana said, “My film work is getting affected. My projects are on the waiting list. I am not able to start my shooting. I am waiting for more sessions like the winter session of Parliament so that I can plan my dates.” She added that she is equally committed to acting as she is to her political career and wants to focus on things that need her attention on a priority basis. Meanwhile, the trailer of Emergency is set to release a day before India’s Independence Day on August 14. Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her dream project film.
