Farmers’ protest is taking an ugly shape after the clash with the Delhi police on 26th January. They’ve taken several steps to block the farmers from entering the capital including barricading the borders like international borders and cutting off internet connection in the area. While major news channels have decided to show biased news and make the protest silent, it gained the international spotlight after the international pop singer Rihanna tweeted about it yesterday, questioning the happenings around the capital of the world’s largest democracy.
On Tuesday, International pop sensation Rihanna has tweeted about the restriction on the supply of internet during the farmers’ protest in Delhi. She wrote, “Why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest.” Her tweet was hailed by many, however, Kangana reacted harshly to Rihanna’s tweet by calling her a fool and a dummy. Kangana also said the protesting farmers were terrorists.
Kangana’s tweet read, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA… Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”
A Twitter user also dug out an old tweet of Kangana’s in which she seemed to be expressing her love for a song by Rihanna. Replying to this, Kangana wrote, “Oye tattu I took over my account in August last year before that it was a team fan page, mujhe na pop music samajh aata hai nahi main English gaane zyaada sunti hoon. Soja aab ho gaya tera …”
After Kangana’s tweet countering Rihanna hit social media, the Bollywood actress faced heavy trolling. Some branded her a ‘bhakt’.
