Kangana Ranaut Trolled For Praising Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’; ‘Trying To Repair Burnt Bridges’

Bollywood actress and filmmaker Kangana Ranaut is known for calling spade a spade. She doesn’t mince her words when it comes to reviewing films or putting forward her opinion on any political or social issue. The actress’ blunt nature has often caused trouble to her. Recently, Kangana heaped praises on Shah Rukh Khan and his latest release ‘Jawan’. However, during SRK’s son Aryan Khan drug case, she had called out the actor. Now, netizens have dug out the same post and are trolling the actress for indirectly turning from her stance.

Kangana hails Shah Rukh

Taking to her official social media handle, Kangana shared Jawan’s poster and wrote a long congratulatory note for Shah Rukh and his team. She complimented his performance and tagged him a “quintessential Indian mass super hero.” The actress also recalled how the superstar was mocked for his choices in movies, however his ‘struggle’ is a master class for many artists. A part of her message read, “SRK is the cinema God that India needs not just for hugs or dimples but for some serious world saving as well. Bowing down to your perseverance, hard work and humility King Khan.”

Netizens react to Kangana’s changed stance

Soon after Kangana’s post reached on the internet, netizens took to Reddit to bash her for her contradictory statements. Some even reminded how the actress took potshots at Khan and his family in 2021, when his elder son Aryan was arrested in a drug case.

One wrote, “Okay Kangana. Just maintain this sanity and we might start liking you again.” Another joked, “Didi ne aaj Dawai li.” A third one penned, “Kangu trying to repair burnt bridges. I hope SRK doesn’t entertain her at all.” “This lady shaded him and his family during the whole Aryan thing. Ab kya achi ban rahi hai,” read a comment.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut will next light up the screens with ‘Emergency’. The film will mark her solo directorial debut. She is going to essay the role of late Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi in the much-anticipated film. Apart from this, Kangana has movies like Tejas, Chandramukhi 2 and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in the pipeline.
