In a chance encounter that quickly caught the public’s eye, actors-turned-politicians Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan shared a warm and candid moment near the entrance of the Parliament. The brief exchange between the two, who co-starred in the 2014 film Miley Na Miley Hum, drew attention from onlookers and sparked conversations among their fans.

During a recent interview with AajTak, Kangana reflected on that viral moment, offering a humorous take on the encounter. When asked about the incident, she laughed and said, “Leave Parliament out of it,” emphasising the sanctity of the institution. The actress, who is eagerly awaiting the release of her film Emergency, added, “Chirag and I have known each other for a long time. He is a very good friend of mine. But you guys are after me for the same. Now even Chirag changes his path when he sees me.”

Chirag Paswan, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief, also shared his thoughts on the meeting during a podcast with Smita Prakash. He revealed that he was eager to reconnect with Kangana in Parliament after being occupied with his own life for the past few years. “I was really looking forward to meeting her in Parliament,” he said. When asked if he offered her any tips on speeches, Chirag chuckled and said, “No, no. She doesn’t need any tips.”

The duo’s candid exchange was first captured in June by news agency ANI, which released a video showing Kangana and Chirag greeting each other with smiles and a friendly “low five.” Kangana, dressed in a yellow cotton sari, and Chirag, in a white kurta and blue jeans, were seen giggling as they climbed the steps of Parliament together.

Kangana, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Chirag, an ally in the NDA, also met during the NDA’s Parliamentary meet in New Delhi the same month, where they shared another light-hearted moment. Chirag had expressed his anticipation to meet Kangana again, praising her as a “strong lady” who “voices herself very articulately.”
