Kanye West’s reputation takes a hit as new allegations surface from a lawsuit. A former employee of his Donda Academy and Yeezy fashion labels complained against the rapper.
The ex-employee, Trevor Phillips, accused him of racism, homophobia, antisemitism, and harassment. As per reports, West allegedly showed lewd pictures of one of his female friends to his employees and simulated sexual activity during a meeting.
Vulgar behaviour
According to reports, West allegedly flaunted explicit images of a female friend to his employees and made inappropriate comments about his sexual history during meetings. The lawsuit claims West boasted about past orgies and expressed frustration over his current sexual activities, creating a discomforting atmosphere for his staff.
Phillips also alleges that West engaged in vulgar behaviour during meetings, including simulated masturbation and lewd gestures. Such actions, as described in the lawsuit, point to a pattern of inappropriate conduct within West’s professional environment.
Discrimination against Black employees
Along with lewd behaviour from rappers, the lawsuit also highlights accusations of discrimination, with Phillips claiming that West treated black employees unfavourably compared to their white counterparts. Allegations of verbal abuse and disparate treatment based on race add another layer of concern to the case.
As of now, Kanye West has not responded to the lawsuit, leaving the allegations unanswered and casting a shadow over his reputation in both the entertainment and business worlds.
West mostly faces the brunt of the internet, especially because of his lewd posts about his wife, Bianca Censori, and his antisemitism views. The rapper was previously married to media personality Kim Kardashian but officially parted ways in 2022.
