Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan and director-producer Karan Johar had a major fallout after the former opted out of latter’s film ‘Dostana 2’. But seems like the two have called the truce. The duo graced the recently held Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). Several videos from the event featuring Kartik and Karan together have been doing the rounds on the internet indicating at their cordial relations.

Karan hints at Kartik’s wedding

In one of the viral clips, Karan is giving a speech in which he is heaping praises on Kartik. While wishing Kartik ‘more power to make challenging films’, Karan jokes about him getting married by the end of the year, seemingly referring to a fan who proposed to the young superstar after the screening of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ at the Melbourne festival.

Furthermore, Karan adds that Kartik’s films have deeply connected with the country. He has always brought in so much passion back to the cinema halls. The filmmaker hoped to see continuous contribution of the actor towards cinema. Besides this, Karan also shared that he will soon collaborate with Kartik on screen.

While KJo might have made a funny remark regarding Kartik tying the knot by the end of 2023, it has surely made everyone wondering if it has some truth to it.

Let us tell you that during the screening of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, a female fan went down on her knees and asked Kartik to marry her. The question brought a smile on Kartik’s face. He was speechless for a few seconds before giving a hug to the fan.

For the unversed, Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar couldn’t see eye to eye after Kartik quit Karan’s ‘Dostana 2’. According to a report, the actor had done a schedule for the film in Punjab as well. As a result, Karan faced losses up to Rs 20 crores. Moreover, the film also got shelved.
