TV producer Yash Patnaik has managed to bring the two tremendously talented actors of the small screen-Karan Kundrra and Gashmeer Mahajani together on his upcoming show which is a supernatural love story based on vampires. The program which will be airing on Colors TV is likely to replace Ekta Kapoor’s fantasy thriller Naagin 6 which stars Kundrra’s lady love Tejasswi Prakash in lead role.

According to a report, the details of the yet to be titled project are currently kept under wraps by the makers. The search for the female lead of this interesting project is still on.

Workwise, Karan was last seen as a host on Dance Deewane Juniors. His latest outing as an actor was with Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai post, he tried his luck in Bigg Boss 15. Though he did not lift the trophy, he managed to garner huge popularity for himself. Besides getting fame, Karan met the love of his life, Tejasswi inside the glass-walled house. The two are presently in a relationship.

Gashmeer, on the other hand, is currently showing his dancing skills on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. While talking about what made him participate in the dance reality show, the actor said, “I am doing a show like Jhalak… because it is related to my area of work, which is acting. This reality show is going to help me in my work. Even though I have been a choreographer all my life, I have mostly worked as an actor for the past seven years. Every character that I played, was not a dancer. I couldn’t practice as I was a full-time actor. I will get back into my professional dancing shoes now with the help of Jhalak.”

For the unknown, Gashmeer won millions of hearts with his acting debut in Star Plus’ daily soap, Imlie. His exit from the show caused a stir on social media.
