Kareena And Deepika Among Many Celebs Who Hailed The Women Empowerment Message In PM’s ‘Mann KI Baat’

Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan were one of the many celebrities who came in support for the women empowerment message discussed in the recent PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

In his monthly radio address to nation, also know as ‘Mann Ki Baat’ PM Modi applauded for four women pilots who recently made history by finishing the national carrier’s longest flight from San Francisco to Bengaluru. With the all-women cockpit crew, Air India’s flight successfully landed on India on January 11.

On this note Deepika Padukone shared a quote of Mahatma Gandhi which says “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. In the caption she wrote “These words couldn’t be truer for these incredible women and for every single woman around the world!” while retweeting PMO India’s tweet.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan also came upfront on her Instagram and shared a picture which said “From flying non stop commercial flights to taking part in Republic Day parades, women participation is increasing in manifold. Desk ki Beti today is fearless, courageous and an equal participant in nation building activities”.


Krirti Sanon took to her both Instagram and Twitter as well to share her feelings towards the powerful message. She wrote “Hats off to these inspiring women. Feels so amazing and proud to hear these stories on #MannKiBaat”.


Famous producer Ekta Kapoor lauded the spirit of all the fearless women around the world. She said that she respects all these women who are passionately delivering their presence in the fields. “Here’s to all the women who are confident, passionate & fearless in their respective fields.” She also wrote a thank you note to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for congratulating and acknowledging their efforts in his address in ‘Mann Ki Baat’.


The recent ‘Mann Ki Baat’ marked the first address of the year 2021 and the 73rd episode. PM Narendra Modi spoke of three inspirational stories about women empowerment. One was about the all-women cockpit crew flying over from north pole all the way from San Francisco to Bengaluru. The second was about the women pilot who created the history at the Republic Day’s parade. And the final story was about the female mill workers who sets up their own in the midst of economical struggles in the Pandemic.
