According to media reports, Amboli Police has arrested a fraudster who used to charge huge amounts from the fans of stars in the greed of introducing them to Bollywood stars. That fraudster used to trap people in his net by claiming to have deep relations with Bollywood stars and used to charge huge amounts from them by showing dreams of introducing them to them. Something similar happened with a Mumbai fan of Kartik. If sources are to be believed, this fan was duped by the fraudster of more than Rs 82 lakh for introducing him to Kartik, after which the whole matter reached the police.

In a shocking incident that surfaced online, a Mumbai woman was duped of more than Rs 82 lakh on the promise of introducing her to Kartik. According to media reports, a woman from Goregaon was duped of Rs 82.75 lakh by a fraudster named Krishna Sharma in 2022. The 29-year-old criminal had promised the woman that if she invested money in his alleged film ‘Love in London’, he would introduce her to Kartik Aaryan.

According to media reports, Amboli police, who arrested fraudster Sharma, revealed that several similar fraud cases are registered against him in police stations of Amboli, Vakola, Mumbai Airport, Connaught Place in Delhi and E3 Teynampet in Chennai. According to media reports, the Amboli police officer said that between April 2022 and July 2023, the fraudster collected Rs 82.75 lakh in installments and said that it was needed for production.

The woman said in the complaint, “He promised to arrange a meeting with the actor and grabbed the money and when I started asking for my money back, he disappeared.” After her complaint, a special police team was formed for investigation, where they found out that Krishna was recently arrested by the Crime Branch team at the Taj West End Hotel in Bengaluru. Along with him, three more of his accomplices were also caught by a special team of Bengaluru Police.
