Kasautii Zindagii Kay is one of the most popular and longest-running shows produced by Ekta Kapoor. The show ran successfully from 2001 to 2008 and completed 1423 episodes. The story of Kasautii Zindagii Kay revolved around two lovers Prerna and Anurag who never unite due to many hurdles and unfavourable circumstances in their life. The show not only gave us the epic unrequited love story of Prerna and Anurag but also gave us many iconic and unforgettable characters like Mr Bajaj (played by the suave Ronit Roy) and the negative character Komolika (played by Urvashi Dholakia).

The cast for season 2 of Kasautii Zindagii Kay has not been finalised yet. Erica has been cast as the female lead. Many names like Mohit Raina, Shaheer Sheikh, Angad Bedi, Barun Sobti, Ssharad Malhotra, and other came up for the male lead opposite. No one has been finalised yet. The show will go on air in the month of August this year.
