Kate Middleton Shines In An Ivory Coat Dress At The Trooping The Colour Parade
The Platinum Jubilee celebrations have begun, and Kate Middleton looked dapper for the first of the weekend’s events, Trooping the Colour Parade 2022. The annual ceremony usually commemorates the Queen’s birthday, but it has been postponed indefinitely for the past two years due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak and social distancing guidelines. Kate Middleton and Prince William attended today’s annual Trooping the Colour parade with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, for the first time since 2019.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore an ivory white Alexander McQueen coat dress and matched it with a navy blue Philip Treacy hat with white trimming. She was accessorized with sapphire and diamond earrings and a necklace that matched her iconic 12-carat oval Ceylon sapphire engagement ring.
Kate arrived in a carriage with her three children, Prince George was dressed in a suit, Princess Charlotte wore a blue dress and Prince Louis in a white and blue ensemble. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Camilla wore a striped dress and matching hat in light blue. Meanwhile, Prince William has arrived at the celebrations as a member of the Irish Guards.
Kate is expected to join her husband, Prince William, on the balcony with the Queen and other working senior royal family members later to watch the flypast. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are also in town for Platinum Jubilee events with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, but will not be on the balcony with Kate and William.
Kate and William will miss any additional private celebrations for Lilibet’s first birthday on June 4. The absence is not due to a royal feud, but rather to work. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are scheduled to visit Wales on Saturday for Platinum Jubilee events.
