Vicky Kaushal reminds Katrina, ‘It’s Kay to be You’
Katrina Kaif is not only an accomplished actor but also the proprietor of Kay cosmetics by Katrina, her cosmetics business. Nykaa, a well-known online beauty retailer, and Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif joined together in 2019 to introduce the cosmetic brand. Reducing the distance between skincare and high glamour is part of the brand’s aim, as expressed in its tagline, “It’s Kay To Be You.” Additionally, Katrina’s beauty line inspires women to embrace their individual beauty.
In a recent interview, actress and beauty blogger Huda Kattan revealed that, like many women, she must constantly remind herself that “It’s Kay to be You.” Occasionally, the actress questions her physical appearance and fails to apply her brand motto to herself. The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress also disclosed how Vicky Kaushal, her spouse, responds to her self-doubts.
The actress gave the following example: anytime she mentions that she is unhappy with the way she looks or that she is putting on weight, Vicky tells her that it is she who always encourages people to embrace their individual beauty. As she put it:
“So, for example, I will be sitting and talking with my husband or getting ready for an event, and I’ll be complaining about something about my physical appearance or saying, ‘I am not happy with the way I am looking, and I’ve gained weight and I’m not comfortable’. And my husband will sit there and go ‘Aren’t you the one who keeps telling everyone It’s Kay to be You however you are and just how you are’?”
Katrina Kaif advises people to step into business only if they are passionate
During the same conversation, the actress was asked about her business plans and advertising models. The actress retorted that she always thought a new company should be distinct and offer something fresh to the market. She felt that one should enter the realm of entrepreneurship only if they were sufficiently driven. In her words:
“You know, I have always had this belief that only step into business if you are sincerely passionate about what you are doing and also if you have something new to add in that arena.”
Moreover, she made a connection between her business and principles. It will provide beauty enthusiasts with something fresh to relate to, she added, adding that she believed in Kay Beauty. As a prosperous company owner now, Katrina stated: “I really believed that with Kay Beauty, we had something new to add and I was really excited about that. I knew that this was going to resonate and this was going to connect with beauty lovers.”
