KBC 13: Amitabh Pull Up Kapil Because He Was Four Hours Late For Shooting

Sony Entertainment Television has released a new promotion for the next Shandar Shukravaar episode of Kaun banega Crorepati 13. This time comedian Kapil Sharma and actor Sonu Sood will take over the hot-seat. In the promotion, Sonu and Kapil will come to the show, and Kapil will serenade the audience with the hit song of host Amitabh Bachchan, ‘Rimjhim Gire Sawan’. However, Amitabh makes fun of him because he couldn’t shoot the show on time.

Kapil is famous for being late. Four years ago, it was reported that he had guests like Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan wait for his Kapil Sharma show to be filmed and eventually canceled altogether. There were also reports suggesting that he had canceled the shoot with Amitabh Bachchan. However, Sony Entertainment Television’s Executive Vice President and Business Head Danish Khan said, “No such episode was planned.”

In addition, Kapil and Sonu then recreate some dialogue from the Amitabh movie ‘Sholay. However, Kapil plays Basanti as Shatrughan Sinha. Their short skit leaves Amitabh split. Kapil also noted that Amitabh’s automated voice message informed people of the necessary precautions against Covid-19 and encouraged him to do the same. But when he said, “Namashkar, this is Kapil Sharma,” he was greeted as “You should talk a little less.”

Sonu Sood recently released a music video directed by Farah Khan while Kapil hosted his show on Sony Entertainment TV. But Sonu got more news because of his philanthropic during the pandemic. When the lockdown was introduced last year, he became a ‘national hero’ for many because he helped day laborers and others go home. He later helped thousands of people receive treatment and medication, and even helped them find a job.
