Kannada cinema film KGF Chapter 2 is one of the most awaited films of this year. The team is gearing up for the mega promotions of the film which is set to hit the theaters on April 14 and will begin with the grand trailer launch event on March 27. To make this event grand, producer-director Karan Johar has now been roped in, who will host the event. The trailer of KGF Chapter 2 will be launched in Bangalore.

The film’s producer company Homebel Films has shared this information on social media. Karan had earlier also hosted the Mumbai event of Rajamouli’s film RRR. Kannada cinema superstar Yash is playing the lead role in KGF Chapter 2 directed by Prashanth Neel. It is a period film, in which the story of struggle and domination is shown in the backdrop of the Kolar gold mines. In the film, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of the main villain Adheera, with whom Yash’s on-screen collision will be a highlight of the film. Raveena Tandon is also going to be seen in an important role in the second part.
KGF Chapter 1 released in 2018 was quite successful. The film also got a great response in the Hindi belt. Eagerly waiting for the second part of the film. Apart from Kannada, KGF 2 is also being released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. In the Hindi belt, the film is being released by AA Films in association with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s company Excel Entertainment.
To give a boost to the promotion of KGF 2, the makers had also started an exercise to connect the fans directly, under which the makers announced that the fan arts would be used as promotional material for the film. For this, fans were invited through social media, and in a statement, it was told that Rocky Bhai’s fan art will be included in the hoardings and digital displays being made to promote the film. This is the first time that fans are being directly linked to the promotion campaign of a film.
