Kiara Advani once talked candidly about the rumours around her plastic surgery, saying they had such an impact on her that she had begun to believe she had had work done on her face.

Recently, we came across a video of Kiara Advani from her appearance on Arbaaz Khan’s chat programme Pinch. In the video, the actress discussed the speculation that she had plastic surgery and disclosed that, in 2018, she nearly thought she had undergone facial surgery. Kiara stated, discussing the same thing:

“Main kisi event ke liye gayi thi, jo pictures bahar aaye on different social media platforms, there were a lot of comments about, ‘Oh, she has done plastic surgery.’ And the irony of it was main almost believe karne lagi ki maine kuch kiya hai apne aap ko.”

As soon as the video went viral, numerous netizens began to react to it. A user said, “It is the hypocrisy around it. ‘Yeah, I get this from drinking this and applying this mask’. Say nothing or be honest.” Another penned, “Don’t lie Kiara. Fine if you get surgery but this is what is annoying.” Meanwhile, a third user wrote, “That’s so sad, but it’s more sad that people truly dismiss the fact that plastic surgery is normal and not a horrible thing.” Watch the video here.

Kiara Advani addressed the rumours about her plastic surgery

In an earlier conversation, Kiara recalled the untrue allegations made about her plastic surgery with Anaita Shroff Adajania on her chat programme, Feet Up With The Stars season 2.

“I remember I was at a clothing line launch. I did my own make-up, as I thought I am good at it. But I went overboard that day and in all my pictures, I could see two dollops on my cheeks. Maybe it was because of my high cheekbones or it was the highlighter. But everyone started saying that I had got botox done. It was so mean, that I started believing that something had changed on my face.”

Kiara Advani is blissfully married to Sidharth Malhotra, the love of her life. Earlier, Kiara spoke candidly about the complexities of her marriage to Sidharth at the ABP Conclave. The actress said that she felt comfortable and fulfilled with Sid when she was asked when she knew he was the one for her. Speaking about the indulgence her spouse bestows upon her, Kiara revealed:

“He felt like home to me. I do come from a home where, again, there’s a lot of love. There’s a lot of nurturing. There’s a lot of pampering that happens. It’s such a fulfilling home that I come from that to feel the same thing with someone else.”
