She further said in a conversation with one of the media houses, “Technically, where we are, the Censor Board, to be honest, has become a redundant body. I had raised the same thing during the last Parliament session.” She further said that children have many things on platforms like YouTube which are worrying, the kind of things that are being shown on OTT. The kind of content that is available to children on YouTube, sometimes we are afraid of what the child will see. By just paying money you can access any channel you want.

Stressing over inappropriate content present on the internet the actress also said, “This is quite worrying. We struggle so much with the censor, so why did you show blood?’ Why did you make that cut?’ So I think we need to rethink this. I think the one who needs censorship the most is the OTT platform. Let us tell you that Kangana’s film ‘Emergency’ was accused that the trailer of the film shows wrong historical facts, which not only misrepresents the Sikh community but also promotes hatred and social discord. “
