Reality star Kourtney Kardashian has firmly shut down recent speculation surrounding her 15-year-old son, Mason Disick. Addressing the rumours head-on, Kardashian took to Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 2, to refute claims that Mason is about to become a father.
“These Lies Are Not True”
In a rare public statement, the 45-year-old Kardashians star made it clear that the rumours were baseless. “I rarely address rumours or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child, and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not,” she wrote. “Mason does not have a child.”
Kourtney also used the opportunity to call out fake social media accounts that impersonated her son. She emphasized that Mason does not have any public profiles and warned fans against believing misleading content. “These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE,” she stated.
A Plea for Privacy
Kourtney urged media outlets and social media users to respect Mason’s privacy, reminding them that he is still a minor. “My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies,” she pleaded.
She also addressed online creators who have been making content about her children, saying, “To all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
Mason’s Low-Profile Life
Unlike many of his famous family members, Mason Disick has largely stayed out of the public eye in recent years, choosing to avoid appearances on The Kardashians. However, in May 2024, he officially re-entered the digital space by launching his first verified Instagram account.
His father, Scott Disick, has also spoken about Mason’s teenage years, particularly regarding relationships. In January, during an appearance on Khloé in Wonderland, Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Scott shared some advice he recently gave his son.
“Mason especially, if he’s going through something, you know, I talk to him about my life. Like mistakes that I did. Like here’s what I’ve done and what’s worked for me, what hasn’t worked for me,” Scott said, according to PEOPLE.
With Kourtney’s statement, she hopes to put an end to the rumors and protect her son’s privacy as he navigates his teenage years.
