Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat married in a lavish wedding ceremony in New Delhi. Now that she is married, Kriti showed her in-laws snippets of her “pehli rasoi.”

On March 15, 2024, Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat wed in a magical ceremony that left everyone in amazement. In a private wedding attended only by their closest family and friends, Kriti and Pulkit exchanged vows away from the spotlight and camera circle. Although we can’t stop daydreaming about Pulkit’s appearance, Kriti gave her in-laws a peek of her pehli rasoi.

Kriti shared photos of her pehli rasoi, also known as chauka chadana rasam, on Instagram stories on March 19, 2024. For those who do not know, the bride in Punjab is required to prepare a sweet dish known as Chauka Chadana or Pehli Rasoi for her in-laws following their marriage. Kriti looked stunning in the photos, dressed in a crimson suit with tassel details. She showed off her expertly prepared halwa with nuts on top in the first photo. Over it, she penned: “Meri pehli rasoi.”

After enjoying the delicious halwa, Pulkit’s grandma seemed quite content in the following picture in which Kriti was posing with her. Kriti wrote on top of the picture, “Approved by dadi.” She was seen in the following photo garnishing the halwa with nuts, and she was completely absorbed in preparing the tastiest treat for her family.

Pulkit’s wedding day appearance captivated hearts. Pulkit went above and beyond by wearing a pistachio green sherwani from Anamika Khanna that had the Gayatri mantra emblazoned on it, in a world where brides go above and beyond to impress the groom.

Pulkit wore a dhoti, a matching doshala, and an angrakha kurta. The Gayatri mantra was further embroidered on the garment using pastel thread, giving it the appearance of being a part of the design. We adored his choice of jewels as well. Pulkit showed off a large pendant and large kundan earrings hanging from a lengthy neck chain. His ensemble was finished with a jutti and hat. 

Kriti, on the other hand, looked lovely in a pink-toned lehenga that included a matching choli, dupatta, and a flared skirt with scallop design at the bottom. For the early-morning wedding, she wore a modest outfit. She accessorised her appearance with a nath, a maang teeka, and a choker necklace.

A warm greeting to the new bride was extended by Kriti’s in-laws. Watching Kriti and Pulkit arrive at their Delhi home in style and dance to the sounds of the dhol is captured in a video that became popular online. Kriti and Pulkit seemed extremely thrilled as the family warmly greeted them.
