The self-proclaimed film critic and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK is known for giving controversial reviews on Bollywood films. He is out rightly blunt with his views on films and celebrities. In the recent past, due to his critical views i.e. his objectionable tweets in 2020 on late actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, he got arrested by Malad Police.
While many speculated that either filmmaker Karan Johar or superstar Salman Khan, both of whom don’t have a good rapport with KRK, are behind his arrest. But now, through his latest tweets, the Deshdrohi actor has clarified that neither of them has anything to do with the incident that happened to him. In fact, a third person, which he chose not to name, is to be blamed for his 14-day judicial custody. He also went on to apologize to Salman for publicizing his films badly and for mistaking him. KRK has even vowed to not review Bajrangi Bhaijaan actors’ movies anymore.
His tweet read, “I want to inform all media ppl that #SalmanKhan was not behind my arrest as I thought. Peeche Se Koi Aur Khel Kar Gaya. Bhai jaan @BeingSalmanKhan I am really sorry for misunderstanding you. And I apologise if I did hurt you in any way. I voluntarily decide to not review ur films.”
“Many people still think that Karan johar was behind my arrest. And I say again that Karan johar has nothing to do with my arrest. Thanks,” he added further.
Professionally, Kamaal R Khan has acted in several Bollywood films like Deshdrohi, Ek Villain, etc. He has been part of Bhojpuri films also.
