The popular actor Abhishek Malik has announced his separation from his wife, Suhani Chaudhary. He starred as Akshay Tandon in the ZED TV family drama Kumkum Bhagya. The pair has stated that they made this decision due to compatibility concerns, and Suhani, a model and member of the entertainment sector, has also corroborated the news. The well-known actor said that their divorce application has been submitted and is presently being processed.

The announcement

He revealed, “We tried to work it out. But there were some genuine compatibility issues, and we had to take a call. When we got engaged in January 2021, We had less time to spend with each other and understand each other. Soon after, we got married (in October 2021). After that, I got a little caught up with buying a new house, so we didn’t get the time to connect.”

“The connection was missing. We tried to work it out; we were together in Mumbai for 2 years, but eventually, we understood that we shouldn’t drag it too much as we have all of our lives ahead of us, and that’s when we decided to mutually part ways. We have amicably separated. I don’t wish anything bad for her,” he added.

Like Malik, Suhani Chaudhary too shared her innermost feelings about her divorce. She said that they took the plunge without anticipating that they would be incompatible or not. It was something that they figured out after they moved in together as a couple. However, she has no grudges or regrets. They realized that both of them should move on with their lives. “Parting ways is probably the right decision for both of us. I wish Abhishek a great future ahead.”
