The founder of IPL Lalit Modi grabbed headlines last year after he disclosed about his relationship with Bollywood beauty Sushmita Sen. He shared several intimate photos with Sen on social media while announcing that they are in love. But soon after, the duo had an alleged fallout. Now, Modi is again in news as he has been hospitalized from past few days.

Lalit Modi shares about his condition

Lalit has revealed that his health condition is bad at present. He is on oxygen support 24/7 due to double attack of pneumonia and corona.

On Friday, the businessman shared a post on his Instagram account. He posted several pictures of himself from the hospital bed with an external oxygen pipe and informed his followers that he is suffering from Covid-19, influenza and deep pneumonia. Lalit told that he was roaming in Mexico and during this time he fell ill. He was immediately taken to London by air ambulance. According to him, he will take more time to recover. He thought that he would get well soon but nothing like this happened.

Lalit also shared a special picture from the airport with his two guards. “Two doctors monitored me very closely and observed me for three weeks. My treatment is going on 24/7,” he stated.

Celebs pour in wishes

After getting to know Lalit’s condition, fans and friends began sending best wishes. Harbhajan Singh commented on the post and wrote, “Get well soon”. Though there was no message from his alleged ex-girlfriend Sushmita, her brother and actor Rajeev Sen made sure to drop a prayer for Lalit. He penned, “Wishing you a speedy recovery Lalit . Stay strong.”

For the unversed, after a few months of announcing his love affair with Sushmita Sen, Lalit Modi removed her name from his bio on IG handle. The actress was later spotted with her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl at many family events.
