“Let Their Child Come”, Swara Bhaskar Expresses Her Concern Over Sonakshi And Zaheer’s Wedding

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding is being discussed in full swing in the corridors of showbiz. The couple is reportedly going to tie the knot on the 23rd of this month. Some stars have also confirmed this. Also, Sonakshi has been seen spending time with her future in-laws. However, since the news of the wedding came out, the couple has been facing trolling. Sonakshi and Zaheer are being heavily criticized due to inter-religious marriage. At the same time, amid this trolling, the couple has got the support of actress Swara Bhaskar, who has caught everyone’s attention by openly expressing her opinion on this issue. Discussing the issue of inter-religious marriage, Swara Bhaskar said in her recent interview, ‘One of the biggest myths of modern India is love jihad, where a Hindu girl marries a Muslim man. This applies to me as well. Inter-religious couples can actually be beaten up in some cities on Valentine’s Day. During my marriage also, many experts gave their opinion. But we are talking about two consenting adults here. What they do in their personal life, whether they get married or not, it is up to them.’

Swara Bhaskar reacted to Sonakshi and Zaheer’s marriage and said, ‘If they are living together, getting married in court, or doing Nikaah, or getting married in Arya Samaj, then it is no one’s business. It is between the man and the woman and their families. It is Sonakshi’s life, she has chosen her partner. Her partner has chosen her. Now it is between them and their families. I find this a very time-wasting debate.’

Swara did not stop here and added, ‘Wait and watch, when they have a child, there will be a different debate about the name of the child. We have seen this happen with Kareena and Saif’s children and my child. It is completely stupid, but it is not going to end soon.’
