‘Let Them Go…’: Suniel Shetty Reveals Why He Did Not Send Kids Ahan-Athiya To Indian Schools

Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty is quite grounded. He keeps his life low-key without much showsha. The actor has made sure that his children Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty also stay down to earth. To make all this possible, Suniel in a recent interview revealed that he intentionally did not send his children to any Indian schools because he did not want them to be treated in any special manner. Instead he chose to send them to schools coming under the American faculty.

The actor stated, “I made sure that my children study in a school that came under the American board and American faculty. I did not want anyone to treat them with a special attitude because they are celebrity kids. I had to let them go into a world where it doesn’t matter who they are.”

Talking further, Suniel said that the decision to choose acting as his career was his children’s own decision. He revealed that when his daughter Athiya got admission in a college in Atlanta, she had clearly told him about her aspiration to be an actor. During that time, Suniel had explained to her that Bollywood is a good place but she has to prepare herself for failure there.

For the unversed, Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Hero’ opposite Sooraj Pancholi. She appeared last in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. On the other hand, Suniel’s son Ahan Shetty made his acting debut with the film ‘Tadap’ alongside Tara Sutaria.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty made his OTT debut with crime thriller ‘The Dharavi Bank’. He will come up next with his hit comedy franchise ‘Hera Pheri’.
