In 2014, Imran conducted a Q&A session on Reddit and grabbed headlines for his controversial comments B-town gatherings. When a netizen asked him what happens at celebrity parties, he came with a brutally honest reply and quoted, “Exactly the same thing that occurs at all parties- people drink, dance, stand in isolation, gossip about people they don’t like, there are drunken hookups and fights, and people keep going to the bathroom for no obvious reasons.”
Imran took a subtle dig at Karan Johar
Imran appeared on Koffee With Karan Season 3 along with Ranbir Kapoor. During the rapid fire round, Karan asked the Luck actor who would he give the book of ‘Film direction for dummies’. Imran insulted the host in a light way as he asked, “Can I give it to you?” While Karan was taken aback by Imran’s answer, Ranbir seemed to agree with Imran as he gave a high-five to him.
