Announcing their separation the previous year, Divya discussed her contrasting emotions with her ex-boyfriend Varun and her fiance Apurva Padgaonkar during a conversation on the show “Couple of Things” with actor Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol earlier this year. She revealed feeling composed and mature, like a lady, when around Apurva. However, with Varun, she expressed feeling scattered and all over the place. Divya and Varun began dating after their appearances on “Ace Of Space” and “Splitsvilla.”

Divya explained, “When I was to be around (Apurva), I used to feel like a lady, mature, I would feel I am set in my head. There (with Varun), my energy was different, I felt all over the place…I made Varun meet Apurva. I told him clearly that I had a problem. I was confused. Whatever had happened was very wrong and it had happened because of me. I need to put a stop somewhere. And that’s why it was an abrupt break-up. I just got the car to a screeching halt.”
