In January itself, we’ve brought to you the news of a number of TV stars getting hitched and this name is just another addition in the list. We are talking about the much-loved Lovey Sasan who recently married her fiance Koushik in a dreamy wedding.
The Star TV’s Saath Nibhaana Saathiya star Lovey Sasan had been in a romantic relationship with her now husband Koushik for a long time before she decided to take the holy vows with him. While Lovey is Punjabi, her husband Koushik is South Indian. The duo have always equally balanced out the rituals of their respective religion and culture while beautifully maintaining then. For example, on March 08, 2018, Lovey and Sasan had exchanged rings in South Indian fashion, and the following day, on March 09, 2018, the couple had a close-knit roka ceremony at a Gurudwara in Bangalore, where they once again officially exchanged rings.
Talking about their wedding ceremony, Lovey had once stated, We will have two weddings — a Punjabi shaadi in Amritsar and a South Indian ceremony in Bengaluru. We were planning a destination wedding in Italy, but since my grandparents do not have passports, we decided to change the venue.” Donning herself in peach, Lovey and Koushik looked a million dollars on their D-day! An Instagram story shared by Lovey gives us the very first glimpse of the now ‘Mr and Mrs Koushik’. Also checkout some inside pictures from their mehendi and Anand Karaj ceremony:
Guess the two are following the steps of celebrities like Ranveer-Deepika and Priyanka-Nick. Stating more about her wedding ceremony with Koushik, Lovey had said, , “My family is from Jammu and we wanted a typical Punjabi wedding. Since wedding ceremonies are not allowed in the Golden Temple in Amritsar, we decided to get married outside and then visit the temple for blessings. I feel that it’s an ideal way to start our new life. The wedding will be held on February 10. We will then go to Bengaluru for the South Indian ceremony.”
