Madhuri Dixit Lashed Out For Collaborating With ISI Linked Pakistani Rehan Siddiqui For Upcoming Show
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is facing criticism for collaborating with Houston-based Pakistani-origin promoter Rehan Siddiqui, who allegedly has links to the ISI and has been blacklisted by the Indian government. On Friday, Sunanda Vashisht shared a photo of a poster of Madhuri and Rehan’s event, which will take place in Houston, Texas in August 2024, just a day after Independence Day. On Twitter, she criticized Madhuri Dixit for working closely with Rehan and urged the actress not to do it. She also shared a four-year-old letter from BJP minister Kishan Reddy, which states that Rehan has been ‘blacklisted’ by the Indian government.

Sunanda wrote, ‘Shocked to see that @MadhuriDixit has collaborated with a Pakistani-origin promoter who is on the radar of Indian agencies and has been blacklisted by the Indian government. As MOS for Home Affairs, @kishanreddyBJP had publicly announced that Houston-based Pakistani origin promoter Rehan Siddiqui has been blacklisted and requested Bollywood celebrities not to work with him.’

She further added, ‘Does she have any good reason to work with a Pakistani-origin promoter who is accused of having links with ISI and has been blacklisted by the Indian government? Can Madhuri Dixit’s friends, family, and fans please inform her about this man’s history and dissuade her? This is very demoralizing for our security forces and the brave men and women who have laid down their lives to keep Indian borders safe. I hope Madhuri Dixit has the sense not to do it.’

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, ‘Agreed that there is no money in films but the reality show earnings are not enough?…husband is a doctor…seems like everything is falling short for everyday expenses.’ One wrote, ‘Madhuri Dixit has really disappointed. I think people in Bollywood are not trustworthy, but I had respect for her. I am now quite convinced that they are all the same.’ One wrote, ‘I have been a huge fan of Madhuri all my life… but can’t understand this desperation to make money at any cost. Can’t blame the actors. Want to understand what their managers and consultants do… what are they paid for?’
