Producer Murad Khetani, who has produced films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the Hindi remake of Thandam, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, has bought the rights to N Chandran’s directorial venture Tezaab. However, now Bollywood’s Dhak-Dhak Girl and Tezaab’s lead actress Madhuri Dixit have expressed their reaction.

In an exclusive conversation with News18, Bollywood’s multi-talented actress Madhuri Dixit has expressed her reaction to the remake of the film. Madhuri Dixit said in a special conversation with him, ‘I do not have time to react to such news. But does it matter whether I am okay with this thing or not? Someone is making a film and the art is open to interpretation and if he (Murad Khetani) has any other way to make it and portray it in the best way possible, it is his creativity.

Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit starred in Tezaab and were released 34 years ago. Apart from Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor, actors like Chunky Pandey, Anupam Kher, and Kiran Kumar Anu Kapoor played important roles in this film. From this film, the pair Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor worked together in many films. The pairing of both was well-liked by the audience on the big screen. Tezaab was directed by N Chandra, who has directed several films like Woh Saat Din, Pratighat, Wajood, and Style.

The story of Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor starrer seems to revolve around Mohini and Mahesh Deshmukh i.e. Munna aka Anil Kapoor. He later fulfills his revenge by becoming a gangster. The song ‘Ek-Do-Teen’, which was filmed on Madhuri Dixit in this film, is equally popular even today and makes people dance. However, Murad Khetani is now bringing the story of this film in a modern way.
