Mahima Choudhary’s Career Got Finished After A Terrible Accident, 67 Glass Pieces Changed Her Face!

Bollywood actress Mahima Choudhary has seen lots of ups and downs in both her personal and professional life. She made her Hindi film debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster movie ‘Pardes.’ The film earned Mahima a huge fan following. She became one of the top heroines after ‘Pardes’. Mahima then worked in movies like ‘Daag: The Fire’, ‘Pyaar Koi Khel Nahi’, ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Khiladi 420’, etc. But at a time, when Mahima had offers of some excellent films, an unfortunate accident happened and destroyed her career. It turned her life upside down.

In 1999, Mahima was filming ‘Dil Kya Kare’. One day, she decided to drive the by herself to reach the set that was in Bangalore. But this tchanged Mahima’s life. A truck coming from the front rammed into her car. The accident left Mahima badly injured. Around 67 pieces of glass got stuck in her face.

Mahima’s face was badly damaged

After the accident, Mahima was rushed to the hospital immediately. In an interview in 2021, Mahima had shared that she had undergone an operation after this accident. Doctors removed 67 pieces of glass from her face. The actress had told, ‘I thought I was dying. No one was taking me to the hospital. It was long after I reached hospital, my mother and Ajay Devgn came there.’

Mahima had said that after the operation, when she saw her face in the mirror, she was horrified. Ajay and Kajol, who were the producers of her film ‘Dil Kya Kare’ tried their best to keep Mahima’s accident a secret as it could have destroyed her entire career. Mahima said that Ajay made her get the best treatment.

After this terrifying accident, Mahima distanced herself from limelight. No one knew where she was. Then in 2021, she broke down discussing about the accident, troubled marriage, depression and single parenting in an interaction after which it came to the fore that Mahima had met with an accident.
