MAKE SURE THAT SMILE REMAINS ON YOUR D-DAY
Your special day is on the way and besides all the other things; smile is the basic need for your beauty. On your special day, everything needs to be perfect. Your happiness will know no limits and that smile will express your happiness itself.
Perfect smile requires perfect teeth and here are the things required to keep it. Here’s how!
Dr Reshma Shah, a pediatrician dentist, advice, “Brush at least twice a day. Use fluoridated toothpaste. Brush thoroughly. Floss your teeth daily. Limit the intake of sodas, fruit juices and cordials. Eat sugary food with meals. Your mouth makes more saliva during meals. This helps reduce the effect of acid production. Drink more water. Limit between-meal snacks: If you crave a snack, choose something nutritious. Don’t smoke or chew tobacco. Visit your dentist for regular check-ups and bi-annual cleanups.”
She suggests a list of treatments that will contribute for those perfect teeth-“Teeth whitening, veneers, braces, aligners, crowns, and bridges. Ensure you go for bi-annual cleanups keep your teeth and gums healthy and tartar-free.” There are also cosmetic add-ons that you could choose to highlight your smile – a white crystal, tooth gem-like ruby, tiny dolphins bonded on the surface of the front teeth.
Healthy eating plays a great role in maintaining our teeth white and healthy. No one wants bad looking teeth on your special day, right? So try avoiding junk food for your meals when your day is arriving and eat good food.
