The fans of “Shark Tank India” have a reason to say, “It’s a very nice deal,” as the business-based reality show is returning for its second season; aside from that, Shark has been confirmed for the new season of the show. Although, Ashneer Grover, co-founder and former managing director of fintech platform ‘BharatPe,’ will not be a part of the upcoming season of “Shark Tank India.”

The show, which ignited India’s business growth engine and changed the way India looked at entrepreneurship with its first season, will also once again provide a platform for business aspirants to make their entrepreneurial dreams come true with their business ideas from seasoned investors and business experts in the second edition. Furthermore, the one-liners given by the sharks of the show also impressed the audience as the memes from “Shark Tank India” went viral among all those people, who used them to communicate effectively and made a point to create a strong presence in their social and professional groups.

Who are the new sharks?

Gear up to invest in potential businesses this upcoming season as the sharks that have been confirmed for this new season are: Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com-People Group), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), Peeyush Bansal (Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com), along with the newest shark, Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder-Carekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com).

 

Significantly, the second season of the show will be hosted by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua, who will add tickles to the complicated business discussions. The second season of “Shark Tank India” will soon air on Sony TV and will also be streamed on Sony LIV.
