Praising Kangana, Shreyas said, “She is a huge inspiration for me. We have mostly seen her working as an actress, but when I went to the sets of Emergency, the way she prepared herself for the film was amazing. She did her homework not just for her part but also for Atal ji’s part. We were rehearsing for a scene in the film. During the take, I tried to put in some extras from my side, but she came and whispered in my ear and said stick to whatever you practiced during the rehearsal.”
