Meet 7.7 Foot Tall Sunil Kumar Who Played The Character of ‘Sarkata’ In Stree 2, Deets Inside

These days, Stree is seen spreading its magic in the country theatres. Amidst the magic of ‘Stree 2’ being spread among the people the terror of Sarkata is being seen not only in Chanderi but also in other films released along with it. ‘Stree 2’ has created a massacre at the box office, the film has reached a close to the figure of 300 crores. Apart from all the characters in the previous part, Sarkata also has an important contribution to the success of this film.

In this film, Sarkata is given complete form with the help of graphics, but basically, a 7.7-foot-tall actor works in the film. The actor known as Sunil Kumar has played the character of Sarkata. He is also known as ‘Great Khali of Jammu’ on social media. Sunil is taller than Great Khali in height. He is known as an excellent wrestler, who is reportedly a constable in the Jammu and Kashmir Police. The actor is also known by his ring name ‘The Great Angar’.
In an interview given to one of the media houses, the director of the film Amar Kaushik said that Sunil was found by the casting team.

He was selected for this character based on the wrestler’s height and physique. The director used the wrestler’s body shots, while Sarkata’s face was created through VFX. Apart from wrestling, Sunil also likes to play handball and volleyball. On his Instagram, he has also shared pictures related to the set of the show. In these pictures, he is seen standing with Rajkumar Rao and Tamannaah Bhatia who appeared in a guest role in this film. Apart from him, actors like Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana have also appeared in the film.

Let us tell you that ‘Stree 2’ is the sequel to the film ‘Stree’ that was released in the year 2018. In this part, the film takes the story of the previous part forward. All the actors in the original film have taken their roles forward in this part. ‘Stree 2’, which was released in theatres on 15th August, is getting a lot of love from the audience. The film also had to face a clash at the box office between Veda and Khel Khel, in which this film has emerged as the winner.
