Meryl Streep’s Daughter Grace Gummer Gets Engaged To Musician Mark Ronson
Multiple Grammy winner, American musician Mark Ronson has announced his engagement to Grace Gummer, the daughter of veteran Hollywood actress Meryl Streep. This will be the second marriage of both the stars. According to People Magazine’s report, The 45-year-old songwriter and record producer made the revelation during his appearance on The FADER Undercover podcast.
“I got engaged last weekend,” Ronson said. The confirmation comes after he was photographed last month kissing Grace Gummer in London and flaunted a large diamond ring on her engagement finger. While opening up about the intimate moment shared with Gummer,35, Ronson explained he and Gummer shared their first kiss while listening to the band’s debut album InnerSpeaker.
“There’s a plaque for that somewhere. There’s a first kiss, a very corny Hallmark first kiss plaque. But no, it was forever, it will be etched. It’s still my record,” he said. The couple was first spotted together in September on a dinner date in New York.
Gummer, who is the third child of Streep and husband Don Gummer, was briefly married in 2019 to Tay Strathairn. The marriage only lasted for 42 days, and Gummer filed for divorce in early 2020. Ronson was earlier married to French actor Josephine de La Baume from 2011 to 2017. The divorce was finalized the following year.
