Mona Singh Reveals How She Lost 15 Kgs Of Weight Within Six Months: Read On!
In a recent interview, Mona Singh finally revealed how she lost a large amount of weight overnight while remaining healthy. Mona Singh recently spoke with the ETimes about her weight-loss journey. The actress also disclosed that in spite of her drastic weight loss, she has been the healthiest version of herself. Speaking with the media, the actress disclosed that this metamorphosis started in 2023, primarily because of a role she played in the television series Paan Parda Sarda.
Mona then stated how she used this as a New Year’s resolution and soon began living a healthier lifestyle. She added that she became so driven to continue working with her yoga trainer as soon as she saw the results. She said: “The minute I started seeing results, I was like ‘Wow, this is addictive’. Now let’s just stick to it and wear the clothes I always wanted to and look the way I wanted to. It’s the time when one needs to eat right and excercise to have clarity. My yoga teacher told me, ‘Joh ek baar khaate hai din mein woh yogi hoti hai, joh 2 baar khaate hai woh bhogi hote hai aur joh 3 baar khaate hai woh rogi hote hai.’ Mujhe rogi nahi banna tha.”

During that same conversation, Mona emphasised the importance of slowing down and taking care of one’s lifestyle, citing the various impacts it has on one’s life. She continued by discussing the value of meditation and restful sleep in everyone’s life. In Mona’s words:
“It’s important, not just being an actor, but, the kind of lifestyle we have is terrible. Now we don’t sleep at 9:30 pm. Especially in a city like Mumbai, everyone is restless and overworked, stressed. It’s important to have time for yourself, have slower mornings, meditate. It’s very important and you approach every thing with ease which is important. Otherwise hum itna hyper and restless rehte hai, late ho rahe hote hai. It’s not good for us. It’s good to slow down.”
Mona Singh shares how she fought laziness to achieve this ideal figure
Mona concluded the conversation by saying that she is extremely proud of herself for overcoming her laziness and achieving this ideal figure. She disclosed that obtaining this level of physical fitness had always been her goal. Her final remarks were as follows:
“I always wanted to look a certain way but was not able to achieve that because of my laziness. You have to work hard, wake up on lazy mornings because your other side of the brain will tell you ‘chhodo na, so jaate hai. I feel happy and proud of my achievement. It’s not difficult to lose weight, but it’s difficult to maintain it. But now, it’s been a year since I’ve been able to maintain it. I still get scared when we go on holidays as I would end up cheating on my diet. But my yoga teacher tells me to not overeat or overdo it. ‘Khaao par paet bharke mat khaao,’ so that’s what I follow.”
