It might be physically impossible to count the ways a mother expresses her love. Where loving warmth meets a teachable moment, that’s where you’ll find a mother, confidently wielding her superhuman ability to be everything you’ll ever need. With a knack for adapting, she goes from teacher to comforter to selfless giver in a matter of minutes—an awesome thing to witness. Motherhood is indeed special and the happiness doubles if one is becoming a mother for the second time. Indian actress Chhavi and her husband, Mohit Hussein are expecting their second child in May 2019. And Chavvi knows how to make her fans delighted.
The ‘SIT’ actress makes sure to keep her fans updated with her schedule, updates and tips related to pregnancy. Chhavi shared a picture where she was exercising on her social media with the detail of her healthy 9-months pregnancy diet. The caption was read as, “A lot of you have been asking me what I eat in a day. Honestly, there’s no hard and fast rule that I follow. I don’t like to deprive myself of cravings, and I don’t like to overdo sin. That’s my motto. I drink a lot of water and during pregnancy have reduced my coffee to only half a teaspoon (upto 200mg a day is allowed though).”
She pointed out important things and wrote, “Pointers in case it helps you! Pre-breakfast: Smoothie. It has 1 banana, greek yogurt, flaxseeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, wheatgrass powder, coconut oil, muesli, dates, berries (whatever’s available) and sometimes organic cocoa. Breakfast: 2 stuffed paranthas with butter, 2 whole eggs with cheese, oats, pancakes, sandwich. Mid-morning: 1 of those jaggery and dry fruit laddoos and coffee. Lunch: dal, veg (whatever’s cooked), 2 rotis, salad. Evening snack: mostly nothing. I start feeling fuller at this time after all the hogging. Dinner (at 7ish): Chicken, mutton with 2 rotis and salad.”
Chavvi also shared what makes her happy post-dinner and wrote, “Post dinner is the toughest time, and many times I give in to ice-cream! My fav is Missisippi mudpie from @baskinrobbins .I can eat buckets & buckets of this one! In the event that I sleep late, which is extremely rare, I drink half a cup of milk sweetened with dates. Did this help you my fellow pregnant mommies?”
Recently, Chhavi talked about being second-time-mother in an interview with The Times of India, she said, “One can never be too prepared. No two pregnancies and babies are the same. During my first pregnancy, I had the liberty to quit my show and rest it out. However, this time around, I already have too much on my plate — my elder daughter and business. So, I haven’t got the time to sit back and enjoy this phase.”
Chhavi who also has a six-year-old cute daughter, Areeza shared her reaction to welcome a new family member in the same interview. She said, “Areeza is a responsible child and she is really excited about welcoming a new member; I feel a little relieved because of that. The best part is, I will continue to work through my pregnancy.”
She further added, “Sometimes, we feel that it would be nicer to have a boy so that my girl gets a brother. But then, there are days when we see how loving and responsible she is, and we yearn for another daughter. Mohit and I have had zeroed in on a few names — for both girl and boy. As of now, all I want is a healthy baby.”
