Since the last week of May, comedian-turned-actor Munawar Faruqui has been in the news due to his covert marriage to makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala. The actor has not publicly acknowledged his second marriage, but he has not denied it either. Mehzabeen and Munawar have been giving away little clues that suggest they are going all in.

The image of Munawar holding his wife Mehzabeen’s hand covered in henna was shared with his fans on Sunday. On his Munawar Ki Janta Instagram broadcast channel, Munawar posted this picture.

The couple and their kids are seen eating pizza in the picture. The picture also features Mehzabeen’s daughter from her first marriage and Munawar’s son Mikael from his previous marriage.

According to reports, during the final week of May, Munawar and Mehzabeen had a private nikah ceremony in Mumbai. Additionally, the couple hosted a small reception for just 100 guests. Rumour has it that Hina Khan, Munawar’s close friend, was present at the wedding as well. Soon after the wedding, Munawar went back to work.

He recently grinned and said “thank you” after being spotted in the city and receiving congratulations from the paparazzi. He even handed a few paparazzi a box of sweets. Munawar also performed stand-up comedy after his wedding, where the crowd made fun of his “new beginnings,” making the Bigg Boss 17 winner blush.

Mehzabeen had also related a tale of Munawar’s stage appearance. Even though the couple has not made an official appearance together, fans seem pretty excited about this photo from their pizza date.

Regarding his career, Munawar is preparing to take on the role of an actor in a film called First Copy. He was recently seen shooting for a music video too with actress Aneri Vajani.
